In that role, she is a point person for the OCC's project to completely replace it's technology by 2020.
Shelly is a veteran of the financial services industry. Before joining OCC she was the CFO for Optiver from 2008 to 2014. The first 12 years of her career were spent in banking - seven years with Goldman Sachs and almost three years with both ABN Amro and JP Morgan Chase.
In 2018, Shelly was co-chair of the LaSalle Street Trading Tech Awards with Joanne Moffic-Silver. They were the first women to chair the event in its over 45 year history.
Shelly is a graduate of St. Mary's College where she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration.
Shelly participated in the MarketsWiki Education World of Opportunity series in Chicago in July of 2017.
